About Shannon Pace, DA II

Shannon Pace, a DA II and a 1994 graduate of the Dental Assisting Program at Bowman Gray School of Medicine, works with Dr. John Cranham in his private practice in Chesapeake, VA. She is the Clinical Director for Cranham Dental Seminars and the main instructor for the Dental Assistants Hands-on Program. Shannon is the past president of the Metrolina Dental Assistants Society in Charlotte. She is also on the advisory board for the dental assistant program at Central Piedmont Community College. Shannon is the Editor-in-Chief for Contemporary Dental Assisting magazine with 2 columns (Clinical Techniques and From the Other Side of the Chair). She also has a column in Contemporary Esthetics and Restorative Practice which she shares with Dr. John Cranham called Tech Spec. She has been a consultant to many manufacturers for over the last 7 years. She is on the Board for The Holiday Dental conference. She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
